Medical Research Scientist

Job Description:

Medical Research Scientist contributes to the day-to-day scientific support of studies. This function is accountable for working with the Clinical Operations, Commercial as well as external readers, to ensure that scientific issues are appropriately considered in the development and execution of clinical studies.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Contribute to the development of independent review charters, Reader training material and software requirements for clinical trials.
• Responsible for the training and testing of reviewers.
• Responsible for training of Voiant team members
• Answer queries from Operations to resolve issues e.g., image quality queries, read quality check queries.
• Interface with the Technical Delivery, Innovation and Data Management departments on user requirements.
• Review study data and prepare reports to monitor reviewer performance and assist in identifying trends.
• Work closely with KOLs to accumulate medical/scientific knowledge necessary to support study designs proposed to potential and existing clients.
• Assist with science related business development activities including, but not limited to, scientific language for proposals, bid defenses, and pricing of science/reader activities.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in sciences or healthcare preferred.
• 2-4 years of related experience recommended.
• Clinical research experience within a CRO or pharmaceutical company
• Background with good medical knowledge and experience in clinical development/operations
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
