Image Analyst – Ophthalmology
Remote - USA
Job Description:
The Image Analyst is responsible for processing and quality assurance checks of clinical trial data to
ensure data integrity and consistency in prescribed clinical trials.
Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in health or science field preferred
- Experience in the clinical research or imaging related field preferred
- Ability to understand clinical protocols and criteria
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities; work in fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proactive with proven ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Exhibit and maintain a team approach with a positive attitude
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Consistently performs duties within established Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Study Specific Procedures in accordance with current GxP standards and applicable regulations (e.g., Good Clinical Practices, Good Documentation Practice, 21 CFR Part 11/Annex 11, MHRA, GDPR, HIPPA)
- Perform verification and quality control of data received from Investigator Sites, CROs, and/or
Trial Sponsors - Maintain trial tracking database and project files
- Perform established processing techniques across multiple imaging modalities using proprietary
and third-party package software - Assist in the training of Investigator Site personnel with image acquisition and/or transfer
- May attend study team meetings to provide updates including image inventory, and quality and
query trends - Generate queries and follow through to ensure resolution
- Report accurate information in a timely manner to incoming requests from CROs and/or Trial
Sponsors - Assists with all other departmental requests as needed and upon request
